About Us

my daughter and IWe are a Leamington based family having a 10 month old daughter to entertain.

For the first couple of months after bringing my daughter home from hospital , survival was number one priority. As confidence grew over time, I quickly realised that I needed to get out and meet other like minded mums, in my situation.

Where do I find out what baby activities are going on in my area??

Who do I ask about baby activities ??

Is it expensive to join in the baby activities/classes??

Where do I start !!

The local Health Visitors was my starting point. They where helpful and gave me details on some classes that they were aware of.

Attending my first 'discussion class', whilst being useful and informative, was an eye opener to what other activities and events that go on within my local community.

Meeting a number of 'first time Mum's' also was one of the best things that has happened to me.  It can be a very lonely place, taking care of your baby and not going out and about meeting people, however I was very lucky and met a lovely group of mothers with babies all of a similar age.  We see each other at least once a week, which is lovely for the babies to play with each other, and also great for us Mum's to 'Bounce off' ideas from one another!

What drives us
Attending classes, with my daughter has been the best thing we have done.  My daughter loves to attend the classes, play with her friends, and gets herself exhausted from all the 'play time' and learning she does.  Our weekdays are busy, with normally an activity/class on most days, which keeps both of us occupied....and whilst my daughter is having a great time, I am also kept sane, by my new found 'mother friends'.

The idea to start up this website, was driven by the need to want to make other 'mums-to-be', 'mums' & 'carers' aware of what is available around them, and also that there are so many Free classes/activities available, so that it does not cost the earth to join in.

This Website, highlights the cost of the classes, so that you are aware of the 'Free' classes, but also ranges to the Term time costs of particular classes.

Non Profit

Many thanks and I hope that you have found this site, helpful and informative.
