A Toy Library is a community resource for play which may include equipment, toys for loan, dedicated space and skilled staff.
Toy libraries provide an excellent opportunity to try out toys before spending money on them. For a nominal fee ( and sometimes free), you can borrow a wide selection of toys…and when your baby/toddler has had enough playing with them, you can then swap them for new ones.
Toy libraries offer
-
loan of wide range of toys,
-
play sessions for children and parents,
-
information and advice about play,
-
and a friendly meeting place for parents, and carers.
